CCW Training Academy forms each Group Firearms Class when enough students with compatible schedules are ready to attend. These classes serve students throughout Lake, Sumter, and Marion Counties, including The Villages, Leesburg, Lady Lake, Summerfield, and Ocala.

This system avoids scheduling a Group Firearms Class before sufficient enrollment exists and allows us to compare the availability of interested students before proposing a date.

You have two ways to join an upcoming group class:

Priority Registration: Review the current price in the secure shopping cart, pay in advance, and receive first consideration when the next compatible Group Firearms Class is formed.
Group Class Planning List: Tell us which class interests you and when you are available without making a payment. You will be contacted if space remains after Priority Registrants are accommodated.

Priority Registration is intended for students who are ready to take a class and want first consideration when the next compatible group is formed.

Until you accept a proposed class date, you may remain registered for a later class, apply your full payment toward another CCW Training Academy course, or request a full refund.

Once you accept a confirmed class date, CCW Training Academy’s normal cancellation, rescheduling, late-arrival, and no-show policies apply.

Group Class Planning List: No Payment Required

Not ready to pay before a class date is selected? Join the Group Class Planning List and tell us which class you want and when you are normally available.

We use these responses to identify students who are interested in the same class and have compatible schedules. When enough Priority Registrants are ready and a proposed date has been selected, we may contact people on the Planning List if seats remain.

Joining the Group Class Planning List does not require payment, create an obligation to attend, or reserve a seat. Available seats are offered to Priority Registrants first.

How Group Classes Are Formed

Students complete Priority Registration or join the Group Class Planning List.
CCW Training Academy compares the availability of interested students.
When enough students with compatible schedules are ready, we propose a date, time, and location.
Priority Registrants are contacted first.
Any remaining seats may be offered to people on the Group Class Planning List.
The class is finalized after the required number of students confirms the proposed date.

Instructor-led Florida concealed carry certification training in a structured group environment, followed by the required supervised live-fire qualification.
