Early Foundations in Firearms

Alan’s foundation in firearms began at age 12 under the guidance of his father, a U.S. Army Gunnery Sergeant. From the beginning, his training emphasized discipline, safety, and personal responsibility.

Through structured, repetitive practice, he developed the core principle that still defines his instruction today: skill is built through consistency—not pressure.

Developing a Training Mindset

While serving as a Collier County Deputy Sheriff, Alan maintained a private range where he trained extensively, often firing up to 1,000 rounds per day. This level of repetition refined the techniques he now teaches.
