Advanced concealed carry training is for students who want more than the minimum training required to apply for a Florida Concealed Weapon or Firearm License. This private course gives you more time, more personal instruction, more discussion, and more practical preparation than a basic permit class or video-only program.
This course is taught in a private, in-home setting whenever appropriate. That allows you to ask questions freely, work through real-world concerns, and learn at a pace that matches your experience level.
This is not a shortcut. It is a more serious, more personal, and more focused way to prepare for carrying a firearm responsibly.
Imagine trying to earn your driver’s license by watching a short online video and then circling the block once or twice for your test. That might technically check a box, but it would not prepare you for traffic, emergencies, or the consequences of a bad decision.
Many concealed carry programs operate the same way: an online video, minimal discussion, and a very short live-fire test. That may be enough for a basic requirement, but it should not be considered enough for a responsible armed citizen who takes life, safety, and freedom seriously.
Advanced concealed carry training gives you time to think, ask questions, discuss real situations, and understand the responsibilities that come with carrying a firearm in public.

Our 8-hour advanced concealed carry course is intentionally taught in a private setting rather than a crowded classroom. At this level, students often need the ability to ask questions, talk through concerns, and understand the legal and practical decisions they may face.
In a private setting, the training moves at your pace. You are not rushed, talked over, or held back by other students. Every concept can be explained clearly, and every reasonable question can be addressed.
You will complete the State of Florida required live-fire qualification at the range. Before that qualification, this advanced concealed carry training includes a 30-minute pistol lesson so you receive real coaching before completing the required live-fire portion.
The result is a more focused and useful learning environment. You are not missing the range requirement. You are gaining more personal preparation before you complete it.
This advanced concealed carry course uses a teaching style designed to help students absorb serious information more effectively. We combine short explanations, pictures, videos, discussion, and physical demonstration when appropriate.
You will see and hear the material, ask questions, and then discuss how the concept applies to real concealed carry decisions. Then we move to the next topic and build from there.
Many basic CWL classes include only the minimum live-fire test. In this advanced concealed carry course, you receive a 30-minute pistol shooting lesson before your state-mandated live-fire qualification.
During that lesson, your instructor can observe your stance, grip, sight alignment, trigger press, follow-through, and general firearm handling. The goal is to help you handle the pistol more safely and confidently before completing the live-fire portion.
At CCWInstructor.com, we believe your life, freedom, and confidence deserve more than the minimum.

This is not military or law-enforcement training. It is practical, real-world preparation for everyday civilians who want to carry responsibly.
Our advanced concealed carry training is especially useful for adults, older shooters, couples, and families who want a more thoughtful approach to firearm safety, defensive judgment, and responsible concealed carry.
Florida allows permitless carry for many qualified adults, and a basic class may help you apply for a Florida Concealed Weapon or Firearm License. But carrying a firearm responsibly requires more than meeting the minimum requirement.
Competence in a life-threatening encounter is not just about hitting a static paper target. It also means understanding when to avoid trouble, when not to draw, what a reasonable threat may look like, and why your decisions must be legally defensible.
In this advanced concealed carry training course, you will discuss:

Important: This advanced concealed carry course is not a substitute for full pistol training or tactical pistol training.
While this course includes a 30-minute live-fire pistol lesson to meet state requirements and build a stronger foundation, it does not include the depth, repetition, or skill development found in dedicated pistol training or tactical pistol programs.
Those courses are separate and are recommended as your next step if you want to develop stronger defensive shooting skill.
This CWP class can serve as your gateway to the next level of training. Many students continue with basic pistol shooting lessons, defensive pistol training, home-defense training, or scenario-based tactical pistol training.
When students continue, they develop more than shooting skill. They build confidence under pressure, better legal awareness, and practical wisdom that lasts.
We are not attorneys, and this course is not legal advice. We cannot give legal opinions or represent you. We can, however, teach important safety and self-defense concepts based on the training principles used by serious civilian-defense instructors and legal educators.
In this advanced concealed carry training course, you will discuss:
Forget the shortcuts. Train because your safety, freedom, and judgment matter. A laminated permit card is not the same as preparation.
This is an 8-hour concealed carry training course. We train you at the rate you are able to understand and absorb the material. We do not rush you simply to keep up with the clock.
You will receive a Certificate of Completion at the end of this course that can be used when applying for your Florida Concealed Weapon or Firearm License.
This course is also a good option for couples who want to train together and discuss family-safety concerns in a private setting.
You will receive Alan B. Densky’s 100+ page digital “Armed Self-Defense” manual as part of this advanced course. It is yours to review at your leisure and keep as a future reference.
