- CWL & Scenario Based Tactical Self-Defense Pistol Training
Learn To Defend Yourself At Any Age
Permitless Carry Training is Exactly The Same As All Of The Listings Below. You Need To Know The Same Laws And Have The Same Skills. You must be able to qualify for a CWL, but you do not need to apply for the permit or pay the fee.
This is a 4 hour course in your own home. This training is for one or two people. It includes all materials and a pre-firearms test. In the pre-firearms test you will fire our special safe retrofitted pistols at a reflective free-standing silhouette target in your home.
The Florida CWL requires a live-fire test. This test will be performed at a nearby gun range. We will provide the firearm, ten rounds of ammunition, eye and ear protection, and the targets. There may be a range fee, depending on the range that we use.
This is not a shooting lesson. This course provides the state required minimum training to qualify for a CWL.
At the completion of your training, you will receive a certificate of training signed by a Certified Pistol Instructor. This is required when you apply for your CWL.
Professional fee for one or two people in your home is only between $195. -$225. depending on the travel time from Summerfield, FL to your location.
You may add additional people to your private training at the cost of only $95. per person, regardless of your location.
This is an 8 hour course in your own home. This is the Gold Standard of training. It covers everything in the Basic Training listed above, plus far too much more to list here. So, please click the “Details” link above for that information.
Due to the length of this course, and the shear volume of material that is covered, it can be booked as two separate 4 hour sessions, at your option.
This course is excellent for beginners. And it’s a great course for people who are already very experienced shooters, including those who already have a CWL.
This course does have a shooting lesson built into it, and includes up to 25 rounds of ammunition per person, should you opt for a live-fire test (at no additional cost).
The professional fee for this training is $500. for the first person, and only $250. for each additional person you wish to include. If you opt for the free live-fire range test, which is required for a CWL certificate, there may be a $10.00 per person range fee.
We are located at the Ocala Sportsman’s Association range, in Ocala. You supply between four and six people. It includes everything included in the Private Certification Training, but is held at our location. This class takes approximately four hours.
You will be pre-tested with our special retro-fitted pistol before shooting live rounds. We provide the firearms, eye and ear protection, and 10 rounds of ammo per person. You may use your own gun & equipment if they are acceptable to us. This is not a shooting lesson. This course provides the state required minimum training to qualify for a CWL.
At the completion of your training, you will receive a certificate of training signed by a Certified Instructor recognized by the state of Florida. This is required when you apply for your CWL.
The professional fee is only $395. for the first four people, and $95.00 for each additional person, up to a total of six people. There is a $10. per person range fee.
You will learn the fundamentals of fast & accurate shooting: Grip, stance, sight alignment, trigger control, breath control, follow through. You’ll also learn the most efficient draw stoke, as well as efficiency of movement for speed and accuracy. It’s important to learn situational awareness, and we’ll teach you superior self-defense tactics that can save your life.
We supply the the training materials, special guns that are safe to fire in your house, fast-draw holsters, and free-standing reflective silhouette targets. We also provide a computerized system that records your draw time, split times between shots, and exactly where the shots are hitting or missing.
These lessons are designed to train a person to the pinnacle of their abilities, and make them into a self-defensive force to be reckoned with.
Private sessions are generally for 30 minutes each. Please be realistic. We cannot tell you how many lessons you’ll need, until we are able to evaluate your current level of training.
We train all levels, from rank beginners who have never even held a firearm, to more experienced shooters who want to take their draw speed, accuracy and self-defense tactics to a much higher level. All professional athletes have a trainer, and you should too.
The professional fee per person per 30 minute lesson is between $70. and $125., depending on the travel time from Summerfield, FL to your home.

You will learn all of the fundamentals: Grip, stance, sight alignment, trigger control, breath control, follow through. This is basic firearms training. It does not include drawing and firing from a holster, that is taught in the private, one-on-one self-defense lessons.
* We supply the the training materials, guns, ammunition, eye and ear protection, and targets. You can optionally use your own gun after we inspect it.
We like to start new shooters out with a .22 caliber pistol. We use a Glock model 44 for this purpose. We have one with iron sights, and one with an optic. Your choice. After students feel comfortable, confident and competent with the .22, we graduate them to a 9 millimeter handgun.
Each lesson lasts 30 minutes. We supply 50 rounds of ammunition. The professional fee per person per lesson is $95. There is a $10. range fee.
** Fast draw from the holster self-defense training is only available at your home using our retrofitted Glock pistols. Or, you can use your own gun if it is acceptable.
*** However, we do offer the ability for you to test your fast draw and accuracy, using your own equipment and live ammo, yourself. On the second Saturday morning of each month, we run a CCW Challenge. It is held at the Ocala Sportsman’s Association range. The challenge includes realistic self-defense scenarios.
Since this is a quasi competition, we cannot give you one-on-one direction while you are on the firing line. However, we can observe your technique and give you a critique after you have left the firing line. There is no charge for this service for our regular students.
** The range fee for the CCW Challenge is only $15.00 per person for non-OSA club members, and only $10. per person for OSA members. The event lasts between three and four hours and is a lot of fun.
78% of all attacks take place in your home. If your house is broken into with you in it, it’s called a home invasion. Learn the tactics that will enable you to defend yourself, your family and your home.
Your instructor will devise a plan for your specific home layout. He will rollplay several home invasion scenarios with you. We will supply our special guns that can be safely fired inside of your house. You will learn the difference between cover, concealment, and the fatal funnel. You’ll learn how to take advantage of each, and the best places in your home to take a stand.
This training is for one or two students. We will rollplay various scenarios. You should already be an experienced shooter, before taking this training. This is not a shooting lesson. This training takes approximately four hours for experienced shooters.
